FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Condition, testing, shipping, returns and pickup — answered.
- What condition is your inventory in?
- It varies — that's the nature of surplus. Every listing states a clear condition (new, open box, new old stock, used grades, or for parts) and a testing status. Known defects and missing components are disclosed on the product page. See our inventory for examples.
- What does the testing status mean?
- We separate condition from testing. A testing status of “Function Tested” means the item was operated and performed its function; “Power-On Tested” means it powered on but wasn't fully exercised; “Visual Inspection Only” means it was examined but not powered. We tell you exactly how far we tested.
- Is the item pictured the exact item I'll receive?
- In most cases, yes. Each unit carries its own Ledger & Lot inventory ID tied to its inspection record. Where an item is one of several identical units, photos are representative of that lot.
- How does shipping work?
- Most items ship via standard parcel carriers with shipping calculated at checkout. Heavy or oversize items may require freight or local pickup. Details are on each product page and in our shipping policy.
- Can I pick up locally?
- Yes — local pickup is available by appointment in the Skiatook / Tulsa, Oklahoma area on eligible items. Arrange it after purchase, or ask before you buy.
- What is your return policy?
- Eligible purchases may be returned within 30 days under our return policy. Items sold “for parts or repair” or “as-is” have specific terms noted on the listing.
- Do you sell on eBay too?
- Yes. Some items are listed both here and on eBay. Buying directly from LedgerNLot.com supports us with lower fees — and you get the same documented condition and return policy.
